Tomatillo Cube Steak

1-1/2 lbs cube steaks
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 (13 oz) Rojo’s Tomatillo Avocado Salsa
sour cream (optional)
sliced green onions (optional)

Preheat oven to 300ºF. Season steaks with pepper. Heat oven-proof skillet on stovetop and brown both sides of steaks in oil. Pour Rojo’s Tomatillo Avocado Salsa over steaks, cover and bake at 300ºF for 1-1/2 hours or until beef is very tender. Garnish with sour cream and sliced onions. Makes 6 servings.
